The Earth for Dinner - A black hole animation about the Large Hadron Collider at CERN

The most famous invention coming out of CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research near Geneva, has been the World Wide Web, and now they are on the brink of being able to go one better: the End of the World.

Science and scientific research have many benefits to human life but where do you draw the line when it might potentially endanger that very same human life?

This piece of work is a tongue in cheek animation looking at the potentially dangerous outcomes of the experiments that will be conducted at CERN later this year.

Whether these events might really occur and how long it will take before the effects become noticeable is left to the judgement of the viewer.
